How it works

TRANSPORTATION PROCESS

SHIPMENT REQUEST

The customer provides pickup and delivery locations, freight description, dimensions, weight, piece or pallet count, pickup time, delivery requirements, required equipment, and any special handling.

SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION

SecurePath confirms service requirements, pickup and delivery instructions, transportation type, equipment, timing, and special instructions.

PICKUP

The shipment is picked up according to customer requirements. Documentation may include bill of lading, shipment confirmation, pickup verification, piece count, and customer-specific paperwork.

TRANSPORTATION

The shipment moves at the agreed service level, with emphasis on responsible handling, shipment security, route execution, communication and status visibility.

DELIVERY

The shipment is delivered to the customer-designated destination or authorized recipient, with recipient verification, delivery confirmation, signature, date and time, and condition documentation.

PROOF OF DELIVERY

Proof-of-delivery documentation is completed and retained according to customer and company procedures, and may be provided electronically when applicable.
